Use of Cellular Phones on the Bahamas Celebration |
| Enjoy
the convenience of using your cellular phone to keep in
touch with friends and family while sailing on the Bahamas Celebration. In order to use your cell phones onboard, you
might need to first activate the roaming service by calling
your cellular provider. The network gets activated when
the ship is at sea, out of reach from land and your regular
cellular provider. When the service becomes available,
your cellular phone will display either MCP or 901 12
or indicate Digital Roaming. This service is charged via
your home cellular provider at international roaming rates

What's
Included? |
Your
fare includes shipboard accommodations, ocean transportation,
all meals (except if opting for gourmet dining) and onboard
entertainment . If you were charged government taxes
and fees your passenger taxes and fuel/security surcharge has
been pre-paid*. |

transportation to and from the ship, parking, shore
excursions, bar beverages, soft drinks, phone calls, photographs
and items of a personal nature that are not specifically
stated. *A fuel/security surcharge will be added
to your onboard account ONLY if you have not
paid the government taxes and fees at the time
of booking. |
Will
I need a passport or visa? |
All
U.S. citizens must have valid proof of citizenship - a
passport, certified birth certificate or certified naturalization
certificate. Resident aliens must travel with their "Green
Card" Alien registration cards. Guests from other countries
should check with their travel agent or appropriate consulate
to determine necessary travel documentation. All guests
over 16 years must carry a picture
ID - state or provincial driver's license with a picture
or a government photo ID card.
Please note that passengers arriving at the pier without
valid documentation will not be
allowed to board the vessel and will not
be entitled to any refund of fare or compensation. |
What
Should I Pack? |
Dress
on Celebration Cruise Line is casual. Beachwear and
shorts are acceptable for daytime activities on board
as well as for shore excursions. Dinner attire is resort
casual. We suggest that guests be slightly more formal
for the Gala Dinner on the second night. Shorts
are not permitted in the dining room at dinner. |
What
About Personal Belongings? |
Celebration Cruise Line is not responsible for theft or loss,
so be sure all baggage and personal belongings are properly
insured and labeled with the owner's name, address, and
ship's name, cabin number and sailing date. Suitcases
should be securely locked. Please personally carry all
medications, jewelry, fragile items, valuables and important
documents on and off the ship. Any luggage left at the
pier will be forwarded at the guest's expense. |
What
About Special Needs? |
If
you have a specific need or a medical condition that requires
special attention, you must advise us when making your
reservation and confirm the information to us in writing.
Special dietary needs can be accommodated if the passenger
makes the request at the time of booking. Passengers requiring
a wheelchair onboard must make independent arrangements.

What
is the onboard alcohol policy? |
Guests
may not bring alcohol onboard prior to embarkation and
any alcohol found in a guest's possession is subject
to confiscation. The drinking age on the ship is 21 in
US waters and 18 at sea and on Grand Bahama Island and
a valid ID is required. Celebration Cruise Line has the
right to refuse sale and/or service to anyone. |
Will
baby-sitting be available? |
A
program of supervised children's activities is offered
on the ship for children ages 3-12. A detailed schedule
of events is provided onboard. Private baby-sitting is
not available. |
What
about tipping? |
| For
your convenience, gratuities are charged to your onboard
charge card at $20 per person. This covers all food and
cabin services provided to you by your Cabin Steward,
Waiter, Busboy and Maitre d’. Other staff members may
be tipped as services are rendered. Please note that a
15% service charge will be included on all bar, wine and
Spa & Salon tabs. This is standard in the
cruise industry. |
Where
should we park? |
When
you arrive at the cruise terminal you will be met by
our parking attendants. All parking at the Port is fast,
efficient and courteous valet parking. The cost is $15
per night. The parking company accepts cash and Visa
or Master Card credit cards for payment. There are no
other public parking options nearby.
